How It Started
The Office of Violence Prevention & Trauma Recovery
OVPTR and their extraordinary team helped us start The 7 Space — to do trauma-recovery work through artistic and cultural programming. Since opening, The 7 Space has welcomed over 1,000 guests and become an ecosystem that already supports community in ways we could not have imagined. We are grateful to OVPTR, and to the City of Newark, for believing that healing is infrastructure.
