Learning
Understanding, stories, and the people who show us how.
Learning at HigherSelf isn’t a classroom — it’s how we take the fear out of the systems people navigate, share our neighbors’ real journeys, and stay rooted in the lives that model the growth we believe in. Everything here is free, honest, and made for our community.
Video Library
Short, honest videos that explain the systems families actually deal with, tell our neighbors’ real stories, and reconnect us with culture that heals. Because understanding something makes it a lot less frightening.
- Explainers — like “Understanding Your Mortgage”
- Neighbor stories — how Taina & Jamel found their home
- Culture that heals — Mister Rogers, and more
Contributors
The Ancestors who came before and the Torchbearers still lighting the way — profound contributors to humanity, researched and verified. We keep them close because rootedness and real role models are their own kind of learning.
- Justice & Freedom — Tubman, Parks, Lewis, Marshall
- Science & Medicine — Curie, Salk, Katherine Johnson
- Environment & Education — Maathai, Goodall, Malala
