About the Program

Real skills, right here in Newark

Our Youth Summer Enrichment Program gives young people in Newark hands-on exposure to skilled trades — the kind of training that turns into real, marketable skills and a direct pathway to good careers. Students learn by doing, alongside mentors invested in their success.

The program is sponsored by MetroPower, now in its second year of bringing trade-skills training to Newark students. See our supporters & sponsors.
