We Are All Brooklyn | Fellowship
In 2008, the founders of WAAB established a Fellowship to train new leaders working for community, faith-based, government, non-profit, and private sector organizations in Brooklyn. The WAAB Fellowship is a year-long leadership development program dedicated to advancing the next generation of Brooklyn’s diverse leaders and empowering them to become change agents to strengthen Brooklyn.
The WAAB Fellowship teaches and challenges participants to work together. Fellows learn how they can help communities share resources, manage tensions, and collaborate on solving problems. Ultimately, they are able to view diversity as an asset to themselves, their agencies, their communities, and Brooklyn as a whole. Fellows participate in monthly professional development seminars and networking opportunities with key decision makers in our city.
